A livery is a custom skin or paint job for your bus in Bus Simulator Indonesia. It changes how your bus looks on the outside, turning a plain white or default colored bus into something that looks like a real Indonesian AKAP bus, a Kerala KSRTC red bus, a branded corporate coach, or anything else you want.

Liveries are one of the most downloaded mods in the entire BUSSID community. They do not change how the game plays. They only change how your bus looks. Installing one takes about two minutes and the result is instant.

Indonesian Bus Liveries

These are the most popular livery category in the game. They replicate the actual paint schemes used by real Indonesian bus companies on Java, Sumatra, Bali, and other islands.

• The livery file in PNG or .bussidmod format

Method 1 — Installing a PNG Livery

PNG liveries go directly into the livery editor inside the game.

Step 1 — Download the PNG livery file from this page and save it to your device storage.

Step 2 — Open Bus Simulator Indonesia and go to the Garage.

Step 3 — Select the bus you want to apply the livery to.

Step 4 — Tap the Livery button and then tap Custom.

Step 5 — Select Import and navigate to the downloaded PNG file.

Step 6 — Tap Apply. The livery will appear on your bus immediately.

Method 2 — Installing a .bussidmod Livery

Step 1 — Download the .bussidmod livery file from this page.

Step 2 — Tap the file in your file manager. BUSSID will open automatically and ask to import.

Step 3 — Tap Import.

Step 4 — Go to Garage, select your bus, tap Livery, and choose the newly imported livery from the list.

Step 5 — Tap Apply and start driving.

Method 3 — Installing a ZIP Livery

Step 1 — Download the ZIP file and open it in ZArchiver.

Step 2 — Extract the contents to a folder you can find easily.

Step 3 — Inside the extracted folder you will find either a PNG or .bussidmod file.

Step 4 — Follow Method 1 or Method 2 above depending on the file type.

Choose the right livery for the right bus. A Kerala KSRTC livery looks best on a single decker low floor bus. A PO Haryanto livery looks best on a sleeper coach or double decker. Putting an Indian livery on a minibus will look odd regardless of the design quality.

PNG resolution matters. High resolution PNG files (1024×512 or higher) look crisp and clean on screen. Low resolution files will appear blurry when viewed up close. All liveries on this page are high resolution.

Back up your current livery before replacing it. Take a screenshot of your current bus skin before importing a new one. BUSSID does not have a built-in undo for livery changes.

Use the livery editor to add finishing touches. After importing a PNG livery, you can open the livery editor and add custom text, numbers, or small design elements on top of the base livery.

Making a custom livery does not require professional design skills. Here is the basic process:

Step 1 — Download the official BUSSID livery template from the Workshop section inside the game. This gives you the correct dimensions and UV mapping for each bus model.

Step 2 — Open the template in Photoshop, GIMP, or any image editor that supports layers.

Step 3 — Design your livery on a separate layer above the template. Use the template lines as guides to place colors, logos, and text in the right positions.

Step 4 — Export as a PNG file at 1024×512 resolution minimum.

Step 5 — Import the PNG into BUSSID using the method described above and apply it to your bus.

Many players share their templates in the BUSSID community groups on Facebook and Telegram. Starting from someone else’s base design and modifying it is a common and accepted practice.

Livery appears blurry after installing The PNG file resolution is too low. Replace it with a version that is at least 1024×512 pixels. Higher resolution files always look better on screen.

Import button is greyed out in the livery editor Make sure you are selecting a bus first before tapping the livery button. Some bus models in BUSSID only accept liveries from the Workshop, not custom PNG imports.

Game crashes when importing livery The file may be corrupted or in an incompatible format. Re-download the livery from this page. Make sure your BUSSID version is v4.5.1.

Livery installed but colors look different than the preview This happens when the PNG file was exported with wrong color settings. The file should be exported in RGB color mode, not CMYK. Most mobile image editors default to RGB so this is usually only an issue with desktop design software.

Cannot find the imported livery in the garage Restart BUSSID after importing. Newly imported mods sometimes require a full restart before they appear in the livery list.
