Jetbus 5 Adiputro Template The most downloaded template in BUSSID. The JB5 template includes separate layers for the front panel, side body, roof, rear, and interior visible sections. Every major PO operator livery mod for BUSSID started from this template. Available in PNG and PSD format.

SR2 XHD Scania Template The SR2 template is slightly taller and longer than the JB5 base. It includes the distinctive high roofline and extended rear section specific to the SR2 body. Good for players creating long distance express liveries.

Arjuna XHD Template One of the most popular Wayang series templates. The Arjuna XHD front panel is distinctive and needs its own template because the proportions differ significantly from JB5. Available with and without door markings.

Kerala KSRTC Template The most downloaded Indian bus template. Covers the standard Kerala KSRTC low floor body with correct proportions for the front destination board, side windows, door placement, and rear panel. Available in PNG and PSD.

Step by Step Process

Step 1 — Download the template for the bus model you want to create a livery for. Make sure the template matches your bus mod version.

Step 2 — Open the template in your image editor. On mobile, PicsArt and Canva work well with PNG templates. On computer, Photoshop or GIMP handle PSD files.

Step 3 — Create a new layer below the template layer. This is where your design goes. The template overlay stays on top so you can see the panel boundaries as you work.

Step 4 — Design your livery on the new layer. Fill the background with your base color first, then add stripes, logos, text, and details. Keep everything inside the panel boundaries shown by the template.

Step 5 — When the design is complete, hide or delete the template layer, leaving only your finished livery design visible.

Step 6 — Export the file as a PNG at minimum 1024×512 resolution. Higher resolution looks better in game but takes longer to export.

Step 7 — Import the finished PNG into BUSSID through the livery editor in the Garage section.

Tips for Better Template Results

Step 1 — Open Bus Simulator Indonesia and go to the Garage.

Template proportions do not match the bus in game Make sure the template version matches your bus mod version. Templates built for older mod versions sometimes have different proportions than updated mods. Check the template description for the compatible mod version before downloading.

Livery looks stretched or squashed after import Your PNG export dimensions are wrong. BUSSID expects specific aspect ratios for each bus model. Check the template description for the correct export dimensions and re-export at those settings.

Design is blurry in game after import Export resolution is too low. Minimum 1024×512 is required for acceptable quality. 2048×1024 is recommended for sharp results on modern phone screens.

Template layers are not showing separately in my editor You may have opened a PNG template in an editor that does not support layers. Switch to GIMP or Photoshop for PSD files, or use the PNG version and work with it as a flat reference image.

Cannot import the finished livery into BUSSID The file must be saved as PNG, not JPG or WEBP. BUSSID only accepts PNG format for livery imports. Resave your design as PNG and try importing again.
